When my wife gave me the Panasonic ES8109S electric razor as an early Christmas gift, I must say that I was a bit surprised. Well the days of being late for meetings are definitely gone! With this wet/dry shaver, I can shave on the run virtually anywhere!I can even shave in the shower, which is where I usually shaved with my old blade razors.
One of my concerns, when I first heard that the ES8109S is electric, was buying batteries all the time. My worries were over when I discovered that this model has an automatic battery re-charger! I charge it up for about an hour, and it lasts me about 2 weeks!
VERY convenient!
My next concern was probably the most obvious concern. I was worried that the Panasonic ES8109S would not give me a close enough shave. One of the reasons I never used an electric shaver, was I had heard that the shaves provided were never as close as a blade.
I think, in most cases, that is true. However, this unit has some kind of fancy “triple head” design, which makes my shaves remarkably smooth and close. Easily the equal of my blade, or even smoother!
Finally, this fancy little dude actually cleans and sanitizes itself! Contained within the base is Panasonic’s proprietary cleaning system. It continuously cleans and drys the blades for added comfort and longevity.
So, if you have somebody on your Christmas list that is cussing at their blade razor. Now might be the time to get them the Panasonic ES8109S!
