The green light on the Remington Titanium shavers is not coming on. Help plz?

My friend bought me a remington titanium shavers PG 250 i think. The thing is that he bought it in USA while i’m in India. I tried charging it, the green light came on for a few seconds but then it went off. Now i dunno if it’s charging or not.what do i do????

Oh no! I think the problem would be with the voltage. In USA the voltage is 110v whereas in India I think its 230-240v. So unless you use a stepdown to reduce the voltage or use a power outlet which gives you a 100-110v voltage the shaver isn’t going to work. The circuit probably got burned. Get it checked at an electronic repairs shop if you can to see whether you can get it fixed. DO NOT plug it in again if your power outlet is 240v. Your shaver could explode by overheating and that could be dangerous. I can’t use my shaver which I bought in USA as well due to the voltage difference. Hope yours isn’t broken.
